Student/Co-Secretary (Gilgamesh) + Pokego Apprentice (Waver/Blackthorn)

Yasuho’s ARCUS II device resembles a large, bulky flip-phone, which operates as such. The outer case of the device features an embossed front of significant size, upon which Yasuho has set a number of 3D stickers according to Paisley Park’s preferences. A phone charm similar to the one on her smart phone dangles off of it.

Currently, the ARCUS is set with a primary and secondary Master Quartz, and three regular quartzes. It primarily sees use in ‘buffing’, as well as support roles.

Equipped Quartzes

🌺 Master Quartz ‘Tempest’ • Wind Element Master Quartz. Partly Upgraded with the following spells and benefits:

• ’Air Strike’ · Conjures a ball of compressed air and launches it. Small energy drain.
• ’Recuria’ · Uses wind to heal up to 4 people of any temporary status ailments they may have, according to plot. Moderate energy drain.
• ’Holy Breath’ · Uses wind ot heal up to 4 people of moderate injuries. Massive energy drain.
• Reflex Boost, Permanent · Yasuho’s reflexes and agility have become 10% better than normal.
• Reflex Boost, Temporary · For 1 minute of time, Yasuho can boost her eyesight, reflexes, and agility by 50% to better dodge.

🌺 Master Quartz ‘Sophia’ • Space Element Master Quartz. Upgraded Secondary Master Quartz with the following spells and benefits:

• Magic Boost, Permanent · Capable of more rapidly casting Space/Light element spells in succession.
• ’Shining’ · Heightens up to 4 people’s eyesight and reflexes by 50% for 5 minutes. Sizable energy drain.
• 'Fortuna' · Increases spell power and magical defense for 4 people to medium extent. Medium energy drain.
• 'Golden Spheres' · Conjure golden glowing orbs to attack opponents. Small energy drain.
• Durability Boost, Temporary · For 2 minutes of time, durability can be raised a small amount. 10 minute cooldown.
• Automatic Resurrection · Once per day, excluding beheading and total explosive destruction, Yasuho can recover from death with half her health.

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘Lone Blade’ • Space Element Quartz.

• The first successful physical hit made will have a 50% boost in strength.
• There is a 10% bonus chance of staggering an enemy, regardless of how hard they are hit.

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘Odin Gem’• Mirage Element Quartz.

• Saintly Force · Heals a single person of any temporary stat debuffs & temporarily boosts strength and magic power a large amount for 5 minutes. Moderate energy drain.
• Crescent Mirror · Creates shields for up to 4 people that will deflect a single magical attack. Sizable energy drain.

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘Diabolos Gem’ • Time Element Quartz. Permanent Status Gem; Spell casting time is cut by 50%

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘EP 3’ • Mirage Element Quartz. Permanent Status Gem; magical energy pool is larger.

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘Tearal’ • Water Element Quartz. A single target healing spell; covers heavy to severe injury. Notable energy drain.

🌺 Regular Quartz ‘Deus Gem’ • Space Element Quartz. Permanent Status Gem; spells cost 40% less energy.

For whatever reason, the Goodwill store owner saw fit to bestow magical properties onto a pair of friendship bracelets Yasuho braided. These bracelets mirror the other, being extremely wide and cuff-like. Both have triangular patterns threaded into them, and clasp closed with a bell; these bells were taken specifically from the corpse of Douman.

Yasuho’s bracelet predominantly features sea greens and blues, with some black and pink throughout. The bell attached to it is black.

Registered Bracelet Abilities

🌺 Faye Kennedy • While attuned to Faye, the bracelet's Triforces become Teal.

• Knightly Sword · A one-handed longsword. It's artfully made, with a guard resembling bug's wings. The entire blade is a brilliant teal.
• Fire Resist · A weaker form of Faye's Fire Immunity; Faye's bond with Yasuho is defined by protection, so it's manifested as an ability that works passively instead of actively. Yasuho can still burn, but it's easier to recover from them.

🌺 Shio Takahata • When attuned to Shio, the bracelet's Triforces darken to a navy blue.

• Greatsword · A large greatsword, to be wielded in two hands. Unlike Yasuho's sword, it resembles a massive blade with the handle cut into the lower end.
• Wind Bullet · Derived from Shio's affinity for wind and air manipulation. It allows Yasuho to fire pressurized air attacks, with a small amount of power behind them.

The Pod is a machine device capable of hovering and grasping. While it typically houses its own AI, Yasuho's Pod makes use of Paisley Park herself instead- when Paisley is otherwise present in another device, the Pod is therefore entirely inactive.

As it's essentially 'Paisley's to own, Yasuho has painted much of the device with weather proof pink paint. Most likely it will become covered in decals over time as well.

Pod Abilities

🌺 Shield • Maximum level modification. The pod can manifest a shield capable of permanently protecting anything within the scale of a small building- or at least until sufficient force has been applied to break it.

Beyond these devices, Yasuho does not have any ‘magical’ or ‘empowered’ technology beyond basic weaponry. Such objects can be referred to via the ‘Unique Items’ tab.

Polly · Crested (Tape) Duck

A normal, albeit infertile crested duck, who occasionally lays food grade eggs. Polly often finds rolls of tape in her waddling, and as Yasuho's first pet, she has a soft spot for the bird.

To that end, in addition to her very own genuine shell-dish from Atlantis, Polly has a special coop beneath the 'gooseneck' of the house. It includes a 'ducky door' under Yasuho's closet, so Polly can come and go as she likes.

Misty Blue · (Singing) Green Frog

For all intents and purposes, Misty Blue is a bog-standard green frog, like all the other green frogs in Kaisou area. However, during the early evening hours, Yasuho will often hear it singing; they seem to have a fondness for Ella Fitzgerald.

Try as she might, she can't get a recording though, so she has yet to bother trying to tell anyone about it. She's seriously considering making them a pond though.

Glam · (Shiny) Honchkrow

Moveset: N/A

One of two pokemon Yasuho received after discarding some objects from the Goodwill. Glam is a uniquely colored form of Honchkrow, appearing entirely pink instead of black. A haughty and proud fellow, he enjoys perching on Yasuho's stair rail when he isn't ordering local corvids around. He can be contained in the pokeball he arrived with.

Slam · Dusknoir

Moveset: N/A + ‘Trick Room (Rupee TM)’

The second of two pokemon Yasuho received after discarding Goodwill objects. Glam and Slam were named as a pair, and seem to get along rather well. Slam however, is surprisingly social, and even cuddly. It would be awkward given her size, but as a ghost she can phase through objects it seems.

Yasuho took time to adjust to them, but describes them as feeling like a weighted blanket. She can be contained in the pokeball she arrived in.

Lotusflow3r · Fomantis

Moveset: X-Scissor, Protect (Rupee TM), Leaf Blade

As part of her new apprenticeship in Pokego, Yasuho was required to catch her own new pokemon; to this end, she successfully found and captured a Fomantis.

While the 'baby' of her three, Lotus is arguably the strongest of them as well. Yasuho dotes on her quite a lot, particularly as she can't do much physical training with her during the winter.

Raspberry Beret · Horse

A Hyrulian Horse; as with all horses from Hyrule, Yasuho had to personally tame her, but apparently Raspberry has a naturally gentle disposition in the first place. While she isn't the fastest, or strongest, Yasuho often enjoys riding her through Hyrule anyway when there's time- it's very peaceful.

1999 ('99' for short) · Robot Unicorn

A robot unicorn with rainbow light hair. It appeared in the stable at Hyrule after visiting the Goodwill, and seems to get along well with Raspberry Beret. Yasuho still isn't sure about riding them though, as while it's important for bonding, she can't tell if the stables will take '99 back afterward.

Cherry Moon · Dragon

A dragon of about the same size of a normal horse, which was granted to Yasuho by the 'Gacha Goodwill'. Cherry is a very loyal beast, and vaguely resembles a mix between a dragon and a stone lion to Yasuho's eye. They're capable of breathing jets of pure light, as well as fly- however, due to their size, they're typically left stabled in Hyrule where there's more room to roam. Still, they occasionally find their way to Yasuho's balcony.

Prince · Ghost Cat (Munchkin)

A ghost cat that appeared from within Yasuho's house. He's the more social of the pair that exist there, and like sitting on keyboards or knocking things over for attention. While he doesn't need food or a litterbox, he's still just as demanding for such things- Yasuho wonders if it might be possible to get 'offerings' that work just as well.

Artist · Ghost Cat (Persian)

The second of the ghost cat pair in Yasuho's house. Artist showed up only after adjusting to Yasuho's presence, and is more shy than her 'brother'. She tends to prefer window-watching, and often chirps at birds. She's also often the one who forgets she can be solid, appearing part-way through walls and floors and things.

Graffiti Bridge · Thesaurus

Rather than a mere book, Thesaurus looks to be a literal raptorid dinosaur made of paper. Occasionally instead of just little bird-like sounds, Graffiti will instead offer thesaurus readings to Yasuho. Perhaps they're trying to help?

Marz + Pop Life · Tamagotchi (Haunted)

Yasuho's Tamagotchi, which she found in a balloon box while on the Animal Crossing Island. She was in a pretty good mood that month, so she naturally took care of it whenever she could.

As such, it's being looked after even now- after about 8 generations 'moved away' though, she managed to 'marry' her Unimarutchi before starting the next gen. This resulted in raising a 'Bubbletchi'.

A little after making this choice, Yasuho found a second tamagotchi; she's managed to get herself Unimacorn on it, which seems rare. She's very fond of both them, so neither are moving away any time soon. Hopefully nothing happens however; if they die, Yasuho will be haunted by its spirit.

Uptown · Turkey Hen

A large turkey hen who started showing up on Yasuho's property, it quickly ended up adopted into Glam's fold. It seems to judge everyone who passes by, but especially Yasuho herself whenever around- even staring in the windows.

WEAPONS

Magical Girl Sword

A large blade gifted to Yasuho from her friend, Shio. The sword’s magic seems to be in that it scatters flower petals when swung- and also, perhaps, that she can lift it at all. While far from a master, Yasuho can be considered relatively skilled with this blade.

Magic Bow

A bow which fires magical arrows of light, according to Yasuho’s element. While still very much a novice with this weapon, she’s working diligently to at least be capable of using it without hitting anyone on her side.

A shorter blade, meant to be used with one hand. Yasuho is practicing with such swords, but is somewhat self-conscious about using this one; it gleams with the colors of the Bisexual Pride flag, while the hilt bears resemblance to the Demisexual one.

A large metal shield, made of vibranium. Yasuho has it, but she often forgets to actually use it; her sword is large enough that she often defaults to blocking with the blade instead.

Useful in a pinch, this pen is kept in Yasuho's purse while she attends classes, or in any other situation where she can't reasonably keep a sword on her person. Appearing to be a regular pen, with the click of a button it becomes a sturdy short sword.

Yasuho has strength in line with a relatively fit young woman her age, what with her somewhat constant trips to Hyrule for practice as well as her repeated visits through monthly spirit gates. While she is by her own admission far from an avid combatant, she’s quickly gaining ground in that regard, able to at least hold her own on the field to safely offer healing and support.

Due to her affinity for the Light Element, Yasuho is something of a magical glass cannon- her magic is strong against all other elements, but in turn she herself is elementally weak to them as well. While her powers are not affected by the affinities of the month, her emotions absolutely are; during Light Dominant months, Yasuho becomes optimistic to the point of potential euphoria, more inclined to coast along with whatever is happening without complaint. Shadow Dominant months in contrast become a cycle of doomed and self fulfilling prophecy, as her own enhanced paranoia and fear often causes her to trip herself up in any given situation. Only rarely does this magic induced paranoia pay off.

In addition to these matters, Yasuho has incurred two flaws as a ‘Faerie’, rather a ‘Baobhan Sith’; the first aligns her to the Summer Courts of the Fae. Because of this, during the Spring and Summer months, Yasuho’s magic is enhanced somewhat, and she becomes more energetic. However, during the Fall and Winter months, it is much the opposite; in addition to feeling weaker, power wise, Yasuho is more lethargic and fatigued. The second is an aversion to Iron; brief contact with metal containing it leaves hives, and prolonged contact can even cause burns.

Recently, Yasuho has additionally incurred flaws attributed with gaining a 'second'- though arguably in her case third- elemental affinity. Unlike her Wind magic, which is associated with her existence as a faerie, it appears her affinity for water magic was incurred entirely due to the thinned barrier of the world. Due to this, she has to make use of magic at least once every few days in order to avoid destructive build up, and to make matters worse, gives off a literal mist when stressed. More difficult to perceive, but absolutely there, is a minor flaw as a Martyr- making it difficult for her to resist intervening on dangerous situations when it's clear help is needed.
